Six major opposition parties held a meeting Sharad Pawar house

Leaders of six major opposition parties held a meeting at the residence of NCP president Sharad Pawar on Wednesday after which it was announced that there will be a pre-poll alliance and a Common Minimum Programme (CMP) for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The meet was attended by Congress president Rahul Gandhi, TMC chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, AAP chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu said Opposition parties have united to save democracy.
