Civil Aviation Union Minister has launched extended runways

Union Minister for Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhu has launched extended runways at Vijayawada and Rajahmundry airports. The Union Minister has laid the foundation stone for linear expansion of Visakhapatnam airport terminal building on Tuesday. The inauguration process of these projects has been done from New Delhi through video conferencing. The runway at Rajahmundry airport was extended and the terminal area at Visakhapatnam airport will be increased. Ex- Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju, K. Haribabu, Murali Mohan and Gokaraju Gangaraju (all MPs) were also present on the occasion.
