Flyover at Benz circle to be grand: N Chandrababu Naidu

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu made it clear that the proposed flyover at Benz circle in Vijayawada should be on international standards. He said a separate meeting would be convened in two days to take a final decision on the flyover. Addressing a meeting on development of roads on Tuesday, the CM said that the Kanaka Durga flyover should be completed by August 15. He said the roads should meet international standards and the concerned agencies should use modern equipment to test the national highways.
The officials said that the World Bank selected Andhra Pradesh to implement road safety projects. The Chief Minister reviewed the three designs on Visakhapatnam-Raipur national highway and preferred the second option which covers lowest forest area. The Chief Minister said the proposed Visakhapatnam-Tada and Kakinada should reflect Los Angles-Sandigo beach road. He said that the beach roads should be developed in three phases including , Bhimili-Visakha, Bhimili-Kakinada and Visakha-Tada.The Chief Minister said Visakha-Bhogapuram road should be connected to proposed beach road.
